HELPPP need urgent advice- a levels

Medical issues led me to not sit the paper 2 for maths and it’s looking quite impossible for paper 2 biology tomorrow.

I’ve been advised to go to hospital but I don’t want to stop at what I’ve done so far and get predicted results because I’ll be admitted and possibly wont hit my uni goal. Do I sit through the papers in **** condition or settle for predicted grades and go into clearing( worst case scenario, my medical health is acknowledged by the uni I’m applying to)
Do I have to call the uni and let them know to be lenient?

Sorry if you read this and thought what is this mess and don’t know how to respond just a stressful time:smile:

hey, does your school know? if they don't, email or call them asap, they may be able to delay the exams until you are medically fit to take the exams. this would also benefit you as you have more time to revise and also you'll be less stressed, if your mind is messed up or in **** condition do not take the tests as you might find yourself getting a lower grade as your brain isn't working properly.

I hope you recover well x

My school knows and everything and there is no chance of delaying any exams because it’s my A2

are you happy with the predicted grades? because if you are and they can get you into the uni you want, take them, bc like I said you might not have the mental capacity to take the mocks and achieve a high grade

stop why did that sound so rude...
yk what I mean x

Just not too sure if worst case scenario I get ACC let’s say and I have to go into clearing and all of that hassle. It’s a very difficult time to be having all of this happen and my parents only insist I sit the exams whatsoever even if I get bad results

If you sit enough papers they can give you a grade, not a prediction. Then get the school to write to your firm and insurance and explain what has happened. You can sit exams in hospital btw - I've had students do that.

So far I’ve sat three a levels and been told that’s enough to use some sort of “z score” I’m just afraid it won’t do me any justice
