Please Give Some Urgent Advice

I am predicted 3 A*s in my A-levels.

However, based on how my exams went, I know for a fact that I will not achieve this.

However, this is not my fault. The reason why this is the case is because I have autism and I was diagnosed by my doctor just a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, this meant that I passed the deadline to apply for extra time for my exams. This has disadvantaged me and has meant that I have run out of time on all of my exams - some I managed to cope with but most not.

Reading online I have discovered that under some special circumstances, exam boards may add extra marks to your raw total if you suffered illness/bereavement or other issues. I am not sure if I qualify but do you think I do?

Do you have any advice on what to do because I don’t want to lose my place at a good university that I have an offer to and I feel like I really deserve a higher grade as I did so well in my mocks to achieve such a high predicted grade.

Hello, sorry to hear your exams did not go so well due to running out of time. What have your teachers suggested? were they aware of your autism when u sat the exams

No, they didn’t know before my exams. I myself only officially found out when my first exam was finished and I had struggled so much.

I then went to the exams’ officer to request extra time and she said it was too late; however, the government website says that exam centres have to report these things even if they are late, which my school didn’t do.
