I am scared about being rejected from sixth form

Hi i am looking to restart year 12 and to apply to this sixth form that is different from my current one. They have gave me an offer to study there for september but i am really worried as i have reached minimum grade requirements but the only problem is they ask for a average GCSE score of 5.5 but i got 5.333.

I am scared that on results day they will look at this and realize and then maybe reject me or something like that? however, last year when i applied to this sixth form they looked at the 5.333 and said that it was fine and that I could do whatever i wanted. What do you guys think? im really scared

They would probably let you in, if not its not the end of the world genuinely. You can still go to a college and achieve the grades you want, just depends on how much effort you put in.

Sounds like you should be fine.
I will say when I applied to sixthform the school I was at didn’t do an APS (average point score) and no one in my school knew it was a thing. When I went to my chosen sixthform on results day the woman said fine and accepted me. Literally as I was walking out a different teacher asked to speak to me and said my APS was below what they required. Genuinely I had no other options for sixthform and was so freaked. Luckily they accepted me on different courses. I ended up getting very ill and had to leave. So I also restarted Year 12 the following year at a different sixthform and it was the best thing I ever did. Though my situation was just a case of a teaching missing something so it’s unlikely it will happen to you. But you can always call the school before hand and tell them your grades and ask.
