Introduction Deleted After Printing From Computer A Level Edexcel English Literature

Hello everyone,
I am extremely worried as I printed my exam paper only to realise that the introduction I wrote had disappeared- I belief this is because I pressed a button on the exam laptop that says press up and I must have selected my introduction and deleted/cut it. I thought I added whatever I deleted (I didn’t know/couldn’t identify what I had deleted during the exam) because I saw that the line count had increased but after seeing my printed paper I saw there was a gap at the beginning and my introduction for my Q2 was gone. I spoke to the invigilator present but she said anyone could say that and didn’t let me look back.
If I email the exams officer will she be able to look over my past work in class or go through the old versions of my document? I am worried I’ll lose AO1 marks

I think you should email the exams officer, and tell them that it accidentally got deleted. I think that was very harsh of the invigilator present, as they should have let you check. In my school they get us to check over the printed copy of our work to confirm that it was exactly what we had typed for the exam and that we were happy that nothing had changed. Does your school do this? If so, at that point you needed to say something. It's not to late now though, just make sure you really get the message across to the exams officer, although I'm not sure if they can do anything about it now. Good luck!
