My chances on getting into LSE/KCL for an LLM?

helloooo

I got a low 2.1 for second year sadly due to a lot of personal circumstances, I want to go to LSE to study the Intellectual Property law LLM course next year but I fear my grades might be holding me back from applying.

Does anyone have any advice?? Honestly don't mind if people are being brutally honest and say I don't have much of a chance. Also I wouldn't mind doing a different option but I'm quite unsure, I haven't secured a training contract and I'm scared of having a gap year.

If they only ask for a 2:1 minimum, (and not a high 2:1), then you’ll probably be fine. Postgrad are typically less competitive and they’ll be interested in your super-curriculars as well.

Obviously those unis are inherently a bit risky, but I suspect they’d tell you that you’d still be considered.

They are asking for a high 2.1 (a "good" one) which is why I'm a bit scared ngl

Just keep working hard, you can bring your overall grade up in your final year. Anything over 65% is in the ballpark.
