both are ex-polys so focus on the modules & who your supervisors etc. would be. personally i'd choose NTU just as i think the social experience would be better

Hi there! 👋

Glad to hear you have an offer to study with us here in Plymouth... Congratulations! 😄

I'm a current Plymouth student and love the university. It has a great student life experience, with fantastic facilities, lecturers, and is a great student city by the sea.

If you have any course-specific questions, feel free to reach out to our Psychology students on our Unibuddy page as they will be able to give you some insight into studying psychology here at Plymouth, as well as answering any queries you might have about the course material, modules, or assessments.

As far as general queries go, I can answer any questions you might have about student life or the campus/city too so feel free to reach out if you have any!

Studying at Plymouth was definitely a great choice for me as I love the location, lifestyle, and modern city campus. I'll list a few things you might find useful when considering psychology with us, below...

The MSc Psychology is designed to confer Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS). GBC is the form of professional accreditation that is required for many careers that you may pursue with a psychology degree, as well as for advanced professional training in psychology.

Our Psychology department is in the top 20 across all UK universities, with 83% of our research output rated 'world leading' or of 'international quality' by the 2014 Research Excellence Framework.

We have 22 specialist laboratories which can be booked by students and staff. Labs range from single participant rooms through to labs with a range of networked or standalone computers and social interaction or group participation rooms.

Staff in the School of Psychology are currently active in research on applied psychology, cognition, perception, neuropsychology, social and developmental psychology. You’ll carry out an independent research project, under the supervision of a member of academic staff.

We were recently awarded TEF Triple 3x Gold, meaning the highest quality of teaching is provided here at Plymouth.

We have an outstanding SU and student experience team with plenty of support, events, and ways to enhance your study and time in Plymouth.

If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out or contact our Unibuddy ambassadors!

Best of luck! 😊
