What's Your Biggest Worry About Taking a Gap Year?

I just wrapped up my gap year after my second year of university, where I did a student exchange program in Spain. So, I moved to Spain for a year and studied there! Reflecting on my experience and browsing this forum, I have noticed that while we all have different reasons for taking a gap year, we probably share a lot of the same worries.
I would love to hear your worries, experiences, and any advice you might have! Let's support each other, decide wisely, and make the most out of our gap years.
So, let’s talk about it! What is/was your biggest worry about taking a gap year?
To kick things off, here is mine: I worried about managing finances while in Spain with limited job opportunities. How did I handle it? I stayed determined and landed an English tutoring gig, which worked out really well for me!
