Women don't seem to want to talk to me even after making eye contact

Sometimes i'll go to a bar with a friend, occasionally there will be a woman that looks at me e.g. when i walk past them or they are just looking over at me for 4-5 seconds (they look first).

But, when I go to talk to them, we will just talk for a few minutes then they will walk off with their friend.

Then later on they'll be looking at me again.

Does this mean they just find me boring or are they not physically attracted to me? I'm in my 20s and so are they
What sort of things do you say to them?
What sort of frame of mind do you have, or try to have, when you talk with them?

Let's say for instance that she tells you that she's a trainee nurse. What would you say in response to that?

What do you say to her friend? If she's in a group how do you interact with the group?

Have you watched any youtube videos on man to woman social skills? If so, which ones?

They are surveying and keeping options open. Blow outs will be depressingly common, and particularly if they have plenty of options. Keep it light hearted, work on your repartee and keep going
