i'm so stressed for my gcses

i still have dt and fm and already i'm checking the grade boundaries everyday hoping that i could get more 9s than 8s especially for the sciences as edexcel igcse is just mean this year.

you've probably heard this a lot but honestly the difference between a 9 and an 8 is not worth being stressed over! for whatever A-levels you want to do at college it won't matter if you get an 8 or a 9 (i think further maths has the highest grade requirement, and that's usually 7), and unis don't really care, oxbridge probably care the most but they'll prioritise entrance exams and interviews anyway. so don't stress! And if someone like you who is aiming for high grades is finding them mean, the grade boundaries will probably be a bit lower anyway! best of luck xxx

Really?? Edexcel iGCSE mean for science and maths. I thought the opposite apart from with Biology.

Try your best but it doesn't mean the world.

Don’t worry everyone in my year said physics was really hard even like the top set 100% kids.

The thing is I can accept 997 or 988 just not 888 because it feels like I can’t do triple

Edexcel igcse

Oh same, but I loved the physics exams

Reply 14

Physics is one of my worst subjects and I thought they gave a gift. I found biology (especially Paper 2) difficult.

Reply 15

Hoping for 999 in triple science, but physics and biology will probably be on the cusp.

Triple 8 is still being able to do the subject you’re so fine. Also as I said unis won’t care between an 8 and a 9

They do a little. Obviously a 9 is better than an 8

as long as I get all 9s for my a level choices and 9s in math and English it will be fine right

not really though no one is going to reject you for getting an 8 in a random subject lol
