ACCA advice

Hey guys I’m kinda stuck and not to sure which is the best route would need some advice.

I’m currently doing my ACCA and only completed one exam. I’m also currently working in an entry level role. I have 2 option

Option 1 carry on work and study and at the rate I’m going I will pass 9 exams in 3 years.

Option 2 do a master degree and get exemptions in the 9 exams. Which means I done 9 exams in a year then look for a senior role in the field.

I’m stuck is it work leaving a job and getting all the exams done in a year or would it be best working and slowly getting the exams done.

Would appreciate some advice.

Thanks

Personally I would say stick to doing your ACCA exams and gaining experience, as at this stage, getting as much experience as possible should be the priority.

I’ve not heard of a master’s on its own granting 9 exemptions. Would more likely be an Accounting and Finance degree and masters combined.

If you go down the route of completing the masters, but don’t have the experience, then it’s less likely you’ll be considered for Senior roles.

When I started, I did my ACCA (no exemption) along with working, and because of this, I was able to progress quite quickly.
