English lang

Considering taking English lang alevel ppl who take it what is it like ?? Would you recommend
Absolutely! I love English Language. However, if you're looking for an 'easy A-level', it isn't. The grade boundaries are incredibly high but if you want to do it because you like English Language then I say go for it.

It is different than GCSE but I'd honestly rather sit an English Language A-level exam than sit another English Language GCSE paper. It goes over Language & Diversity, Language Change (how the English Language has changed over time) and Child Language Acquisition. I definitely recommend it, as long as you can sit through a whole grammar module.
Hmmmmm see that sounds super interesting but I don’t know damn who knew choosing a levels would be so hard
But thank you so much just gives me a really good insight on the A-level

I've just finished Year 13 and I had a rough time choosing my third and final A-level (which was English Language - a subject that is ironically my second favourite after my Fine Art A-level lmao). Best of luck to you choosing your a-levels and if you have any questions on the subject/course or any of my other A-levels (English Literature and Art lmao) then let me know.
Aww you are so kind thankyou if I have any questions I will deffo get back to you

I love Lang and you get so much freedom for the coursework, as others have said you do the typical analysis of texts, child language development, language and identity and language change and diversity. I’ve loved it and defo recommend
