Top 5 Tips for clearing 2024
Here at Wrexham University, we have put together some clearing tips on how to best prepare yourself for clearing 2024.
1)Research beyond the entry requirements, have a look at what course the university has to offer and complete some further research into the University on things like student life, student support, etc to ensure that you are going to be able to do your best there.
2) Get In touch before results day - this is really important as it allows you to see what courses are available at the university still and whether there are any that suit you, it also gives you a chance to make contact with the University to check the entry requirements to that particular course.
3) Always be open to other suggestions - Never be rushed into making a decision, and ensure that you have completed adequate research into your chosen course so that you fully ensure it matches your interests.
4) Don't rush into a decision - here at Wrexham University we’re not going to give you a 24-hour deadline on our offer to you – if we tell you on results days that you have a place with us, that offer is valid right up until the end of August, so you have time to make sure that you’re making the right decision!
5) On results day, make sure you have your results to hand and have a list of potential universities with their contact numbers for their clearing hotlines. This ensures that the clearing process is as stress-free on results day as possible.
