I look so much better when I look at myself in the mirror but in a camera, I look like a different person. Why is this? Also, from a different persons perspective - do they see my mirror self or camera self - like in terms of beauty

The reason you seem to look so different in a camera is because you are flipped compared to how you see yourself in a mirror. Other people see you how you would appear in photos, not like how you see yourself in the mirror, but to them both would look very similar. They only look different to you because of how much you see yourself through a reflection and so seeing yourself flipped can look unnatural when to other people it would be fine.
