Estrangement Form (Student Finance)

I have just received an email from Student finance asking for evidence that I'm estranged from my parents and fill in the estrangement form. I live with with my legal guardian but I'm still in contact with my mum. I don't live with my mum because she's living in another country. Do I still need to fill the form?
Please, I need a quick clarification

If you have contact with your Mum then she'd still be the one supporting your application.

Okay, but my mum doesn't receive any income that comes from an employer.

If she doesn't receive any taxable income, then she just needs to declare that on the form. She would upload the full form with 0.00 in the relevant boxes.

Hi bsj18,
She still needs to support the application as your sponsor if you wish to receive the income assessed element of the Maintenance Loan. As advised, she needs to upload the full form to show that there is no income at all. Then we can assess you for the higher amount.

is there anything else I need apart from filling in the form? Do I upload the form online on my account or does it need to be sent by post?

The form can be uploaded online. It's 42 working days for processing, does she have any confirmation that she never received an income?
