No affection. Different life schedule

I don’t work but my bf does I’m staying at his for 6months. I’ve been here 2 months already I don’t sleep early probably 3am he sleeps at midnight so when he goes in the bedroom to sleep he just says I’m going bed. He doesn’t hug or kiss me every single night maybe twice in that week
Is this normal because I feel like this is what married couple of 40 years would act like? Or am I being delusional
