Hello, are there not many students who opt to do postgrad here?

Regarding numbers, there are typically double the number of UG students to PG.
More people take a UG degree, very few stay on to do even higher education and complete a PG. However, within some courses it is normal to do a PG, as a possible job may require you to hold both UG and PG degrees.
