Say its importance of diffusion. You outline an example of where diffusion occurs. e.g., gas exchange in fish
You describe that, and then link back to the question. It is IMPORTANT because it allows the fish get rid of waste CO2 which would build up in the blood stream which would form carbonic acid, decreasing the pH of the blood, affecting enzyme function etc. This is therefore vital for the fish's survival...

hey guys
how the hell do you write paragraphs for the essay? i do religious studies, but the essay in biology is completely different. i really struggle to link back to the question with "the importance of". any paragraph structures or tips would be amazing!!

alr simple structure is pretty easy lets say the title is "importance of diffusion" start of the paragraph 1 sentance say what your gonna talk about e.g. "within the neuron cells of humans diffusion is incredibly important". then go on to describe the process of diffusion with in a neuron. making sure you use A-level knowledge throughout making sure to relate the description to diffusion as much as possible dont talk about stuff that isnt about diffusion. second half of the paragraph is for AO2 answer the question e.g. without this (then put what would happen without it) keeping A-level knowledge e.g. without diffusion in the neuron action potentials would not be able to propagate along the axon ..... blah blah. then finally say this is why diffusion is important withing living organisums. nd also look at miss estruch for some help shes the goat on yt. hope this helps my g
