UCL robotics and AI typical offers?

I just got my report I got 2A*s in maths and physics and 2As in DT and further maths, I want to know if I even have a shot if I apply so what do people who got in already get in their alevels? or what are your offers?? thanks a bunch👍👍

Also does anyone know how many people apply and how many actually get accepted? - like the number not the proportion?
according to ucl's website, there were 52 students on the course last year.

and according to ucas website, the most common grades are A*A*A*, and lowest were AAA (with a 46% chance of getting in with these grades).
3 in 20 students who applied were offered a place.

Hope this was helpful

Thanks so much! This is so helpful, where did you find this on the UCAS website? Also is the 46% people who got AAA or A*A*A*?? - appreciate it 🙏🙏
no worries! im glad you found it useful

i found it by searching H700 on UCAS (H700 is the course code). Scroll to the bottom where it says Entry Grades Data.
The 46% chance was the chance of being accepted with AAA 🙂

Hi, do you understand how it makes sense that 46% of students with AAA were except, even though those were the lowest grades and the overall acceptance rate was 15%? I'm confused. Thank you!

yess ill try explain this to the best of my ability (:

so the statistic doesnt mean that 46% of the people who got accepted into the course got AAA.
but rather that out of all the people who applied with AAA as their grade, 46% of them were accepted. that more or less means that you have a 46% chance of being accepted with the grades AAA.

and what you said about the 15% acceptance rate... this percentage takes into account all of the people who were successful. that means 85% of the people who applied were rejected, because their personal statement was weak, or their grades didnt meet the standard.

here is a numerical scenario to put it into perspective:

Imagine a course, with an overall acceptance rate of 15%, receives 1000 applicants.
This means only 150 students are accepted.

Imagine 100 of them got AAA grades.
Of the 100 applicants with AAA grades, 46% (or 46 students) are accepted.
For the remaining 900 non-AAA applicants, 104 are accepted, giving them an acceptance rate of approximately 11.56%.

i hope this makes sense lemme know if you need further clarification!
