What should i do because my friends are not into revising and they dont realise that yr 11 goes by quickly because we have our mocks now in yr 10n but they don't take them seriously and thats not how i want them to be.The only friend that revises and is serious literally gatekeeps her work and revision and always shows off when she gets higher than me

I would recommend you revise don't worry about others. i also have my GCSEs next year and these mocks have scared me a little so as they go towards predicted grades and then college ones, i recommend that you should revise even if others don't as it will benefit you greatly later. As you said year 11 does fly by then i guess its too late... and that friend who shows off doesnt seem like a true friend either!!

I wouldn't worry about your friends. Ultimately, it's just a fact that some people get lower grades than others. Having just finished my GCSEs, I realised that a lot of people tend to show off about how little work they did to get a top grade. But you must realise that revision is very personal and works differently for everyone.

I know a similar arrogant person that you described. They always told me about how they were going to get all 9s.... but ended up writing about the completely wrong character in an English literature essay. They're doing it for attention and if you don't like it, you have to make it clear that it annoys you and you're not a fan of how they're acting. Honesty is always the best policy! And friends should be encouraging each other and not trying to push each other down.

i think you should focus on yourself x you can guide them but at the end of the day if they dont want to revise they wont and you can't do anything about it.

For your friend that revises I think again you should focus on yourself and ignore her dont compare yourself to her shes not perfect xxx
