1) It all depends how your school tell you your results - ie. do you need to actually go to school to get them?
2) And - if you don't get the results you were hoping for, how are you going to manage emails etc from your Insurance choice re. accommodation etc, or if you do really badly, how are you going to manage phone calls for Clearing.
You need to think about this - trying to juggle phone calls and emails whilst on holiday will not be easy.
This happened to my brother - we were on holiday in spain when he got back his results. It doesn't really matter tbh, he hopped onto ucas and found out he got into his uni choices and that was that. He did have to go back to the school to pick up the certificates though and did so a couple months after
Check with your school to find out how they will send the results to you or how you organise getting someone else to collect them. We ask for a letter from the student to confirm they allow a named person to collect.
