Both are okay but Manchester has much more benefits like learning a diff language, study abroad and have also applied for a scholarship

Manchester is a Bsc/Msc course and would be more technical and UAL being a BA/MA would be more creative.
Both would open different kinds of opportunities. Manchester would give you a better university experience with diverse course students together, electives and more opportunities for sports and all.
UAL is of course higher ranked in arts, and better connected for proper fashion exposure. It will allow to collaborate with London fashion week, and other arts and fashion focused opportunities.

When you say you like fashion marketing - Do you like sales, buying, merchandising, business management or branding, communications, campaigns, advertising etc.?
It would all come down to what you want your future as. look up student work and alumni from both the courses on Linkedin and where they are at at the moment.

Wow, I never thought of it like this. Thank you, I am transitioning from STEM so I am more used to quantitative stuff so Bsc would probably be easier for me to understand but thank you for the help!

Hey! I chose Manchester. I love the city and fashion marketing a a whole. It’s genuinely the best decision I would’ve made, the course is creative at times (I just had a sewing lab) and yet uses analytics and contains management concepts. Lots of people here have come from SREM backgrounds like biology, economics, maths etc. I even got awarded a scholarship because of my a levels. It’s a great city, good nightlife, beautiful campus although beware that accommodation isn’t always on campus, many events happening around, great career insight opportunities, great lecturers who actually care about your learning. I love it! Also in year one you learn management as well as buying and marketing so you can make a more informed decision on what to pick in year 2! Good luck on your a levels xx

Hi me too, have you made a decision yet?

Manchester is the second best university in Manchester for fashion marketing. The russell group means nothing. A Fashion marketing degree that's based in a business school and not a fashion school is not going to be effective at building networks

Hi I chose Manchester! Love the course and the city and I think it offers a different experience as it’s a Bsc so that mainly swayed my decision!

I live in Unsworth park right now it’s in fallowfield. Imo fallowfield is the most social one but is quite far away from the uni it’s like 40 minutes walk. No one I know lives in Victoria park so it’s abit quiet and city campus is the closest to uni so there’s lots of international students and it’s very quiet they don’t even have a bar.
