Can I still apply to clearing if I haven’t applied to any universities this year

Yes, you can - you would just need to have a UCAS application set up before Results Day.
Just be realistic about the limited number of courses/Unis that will be available, and remember that Clearing applicants are at the back of the queue for accommodation.

By application do you mean I would still need to write a personal statement and get references etc or do you just mean have a ucas account ready

You would need a PS but most Unis do not not require a reference for Clearing

Hi,

You absolutely can- it's not too late!

Clearing is a chance to get a place on a course after the main UCAS application deadline. Clearing begins on Friday 5 July. It's important to research to see which courses and universities are in Clearing, you can do this by checking UCAS and university websites to see which courses still have places available.

Once you've found a course you are interested in, contact the university directly on their Clearing hotline. Be sure to have your UCAS ID, GCSE and College results to hand. The university will then make you an offer, and you can log into your UCAS hub and add them as a Clearing choice.

Our website details everything you need to know about Clearing, including a podcast 'Let's talk Clearing' which might be a helpful listen for you: tees.ac.uk/clearing/

We are also offering a Clearing support package, so you can benefit from personalised support to guide you through the Clearing process.

Hope this helps you and good luck!
