Gcses and med school
Hi guys. I am applying to med school this October however I have quite low gcses grades.
BTEC L2 applied science D*D*
BTEC L2 health and social care DM
English Language 5
Spanish 8
Maths 4 ( I am resisting maths this year)
History 1
English Lit 2
Food tech 3
I have some low results due to the covid situation where I started to lose motivation for school. I am currently doing A levels in Chemistry, biology and psychology (I am a private A-level candidate). I am also studying a lot for my ucat and I have done 5 day work experience at a hospital and I have another 5 day work experience programme coming up in a few weeks, which I can use in my personal statement. I am aiming for A's for my A-levels and a good UCAT score however the gcses drag me a bit down. Has anyone managed to get an offer with low gcses?
