Awaiting sponsor 2 details but I only have one parent/sponsor

My student finance application says it is submitted and awaiting sponsor 2 details but I have only provided my mum as my sponsor on my application as I have no involvement with my dad. I submitted my mum's PFF2 form correctly via post about 2 weeks ago. I have done everything the same as I did last year but it still says 'Awaiting sponsor 2 details' when I check the progress of my application. Is this right?

Hi KA1499,

It is likely that the pff2 form that you submitted by post 2 weeks ago is still processing - these are currently taking around 42 working days to review so you don't need to take any further action at this point. I would advise monitoring your online account for any changes to your entitlement.
