Contextual Offers

I am on some uni run schemes that would give me a contextual offer if I was to get one however I want to apply to imperial for medicine so I am going to get my predicteds moved to A*AA. Would my contextual offers now be higher so instead of AAB would it be AAA for example. Also can I apply to a universities with the contextual offer grades or should I apply with the 3 AS (If I didn't get my predicteds moved up)

The grades you are asked to achieve, both for a standard offer and a contextual offer, are not a function of your predicted grades.

Whether or not you actually receive an offer will often depend on your predicted grades being at least (or very close to) the offer grades (standard or contextual) but they won't affect the offer grades themselves.

Thank you for your response I just want clarify that if I was closer to the standard offer it would be more likely that they would offer me that. (If I were to receive an offer)

For most unis, the higher your predictions, the more likely you are to receive an offer.

But the predictions don’t affect the offer you receive. You either qualify for the contextual offer or you don’t.

Edited for clarity.

No. If you meet the contextual requirements, you will receive a contextual offer - even if your predicted grades exceed the contextual grade requirements.

For most unis yes, the higher your predictions, the more likely you are to receive an offer.
Of course, that’s only of use if you can achieve them as well.

Alright thank you

Imperial's contextual offer is AAA. You will be made the offer you qualify for, regardless of predicteds (except for Foundation courses, some of which have maximum predicted grades they will consider). The exception to this is that some will only make the lower offer if you Firm them

Thank you. Do you know if you can apply to imperial with AAA if your contextual I emailed them but they are taking a while to get back to me.

Okay, thank you.
Yes, you can apply with predictions in line with the contextual offer. Baring in mind that it isn't a guarantee of an offer.
