Family judge me for caring about my health

As the title says, my family judge me for caring about my health and watching my weight. My current weight is 6 stone 9 and I’m just trying to maintain rather than gain or lose but I watch my calories and track my steps to achieve this and my family can be kinda judgy about it to the point that I feel like I need to hide it from them.

I’m an adult so my family don’t have any direct control over me but I’m living with them over summer and I’m close with them so I care what they think. But like, if they see me check calories on things they will sarcastically ask me if I’m checking the calories/keep mentioning it for the rest of the day and every time I eat something sarcastically ask if I have the calories left for it. Or if they happen to look over and see me checking my steps on my health app they will mention that for the rest of the day and joke that I’m anorexic and need to grow up.

My family also like to eat and I feel like I have to make up excuses to not eat something if I don’t have calories left. Like instead of saying that I’d say I’m worried it contains something I’m allergic to or something. Idk, just kind of annoying to get **** off my own family for caring about my health and watching my weight

Sorry that your family are being mean like that. I don't want to annoy you but I think it would be a good idea to use a bmi calculator just to check if you are a healthy weight. I obviously don't know you and sometimes ppl with ED deny it. If you find out you're a healthy weight I'd just continue being healthy, exercising. Just remember it's better to eat more calories but eat well (aka brown bread not white, no processed foods, no regular sugar/fizzy drinks, more than 5-a-day). Again, I know how it feels to be judged by your family, my parents force me to eat breakfast which I don't like eating. If I don't eat it they think I'm dieting. Hope you are ok

I use the new bmi rather than the traditional one as the traditional one can be quite over generous to short people and I’m only 5’0. So my traditional bmi is 18.3 which is very slightly underweight but my new bmi is 19.3 which is well within the healthy range.

Hey, I’m really sorry to hear that, it is really hard. Obviously I don’t know your family and so their reactions may not be as you’d hope if you were to mention to them that their words and actions are making you uncomfortable and upset, but it may be worth a try.
As you said you’re close with your family maybe this is their light hearted way of trying to support you; however the way they are going about this is wrong and can have a deeper consequence on you. I feel that if this is the weight you’re happy with and you want to maintain this, as long as you’re healthy then there’s nothing wrong with it and so maybe if you prompt your family to be more mindful then that might help?!?!
(I’m sorry if I sounded rude or presumptuous, ).

Ok, well I think your family are being a bit mean and possibly jealous that you are healthier than them?
I second talking to them and explaining that it is bothering you. I have had problems with eating in the past and it made me feel worse when people would judge or act like I was being childish.
