If a uni is in clearing from the 5th July, can it come out of clearing before results day?

Yes. They can fill all of the available spaces with candidates who already have their grades - i e. international students and gap-year students.

Thank you.
Yes, universities can consider students for clearing places from the 5th July if they already have received grades. Clearing team's will be happy to speak to you from the 5th to offer advise regarding the courses available and the process

Thank you.
I just wanted to check as I sat my a level this year and so will obviously have to wait for results day before I go into clearing. I wanted to check clearing once it opens on the 5th to assess whether there are any universities I’d be happy to go to. Otherwise, I’ll stick with my firm.
Not all universities go into early clearing and the more competitive ones wont.

They will only know whether they have spaces when A level results are known,#. Universities entering early clearing are those who are certain they wont reach their numbers

I feel like this should’ve been common sense but I didn’t know so thank you. This has made it much clearer. 😊
