Are my GCSEs too low to study maths with data science at LSE

*I have put computer science in the title by mistake as i was looking at it previously*
Im considering studying maths with data science at LSE but i know on there website they look for a minimum 5 in english language, my GCSE's are:
Maths:8
Chemistry:7
Physics:7
Art:7
Geography:7
Engineering:6
Biology:6
English lit:6
Spanish:6
English lang:5
I currently take Maths, Chemistry and Physics but i feel like i can definetly work hard enough to get 3 A*. At GCSE i had less motivation since i didnt actually know what i wanted to do, but now i do in year 12 and have been doing pretty well so far.

Technically, yes but its a very competitive course and its hard to get into for everyone who applies. I would keep your options open and look at Computer Science at a whole range of other Universities that will offer an equally good degree course.

I've edited your thread title to change the subject.

As long as you meet the GCSE entry requirements for the course, there is no harm in applying. You have five UCAS choices so just make sure you include some less competitve courses in your application.

LSE actually want a 6, not 5 in English Language for this course. Are you resitting? If not you will almost certainly be rejected.

Also, does your school offer Further Maths?

Thank you. To be honest i hadn't looked at LSE before but then saw the requirements and wondered if could actually even consider it, i do already have others that i definetly am thinking about for the 5. Thanks for the help again!

Unfortunately you appear to be ruled out of this course at the moment on at least two grounds.
