EPQ A level subject overlap?

I've decided to do an EPQ project about "how gender stereotypes and expectations influence the way society perceives how men should behave and the harmful psychological effects, identity effects and personality effect on young men (age 18-30) in contemporary western societies"

but im not sure if it overlaps with my sociology subject aqa (family and households, education, crime and deviance, faith and beliefs)

for example, I do recall in families and households in sociology how socialisation and culture effects the roles in which people take
But I'm going to mention socialisation and culture effecting people in society to say yes this is how men should behave

I'm just hoping someone who's done sociology aqa with these topics know if it would overlap. Thank you :]
