BTEC Extended Diploma, MPP help

Hey, I'm just about finished with my L3 btec course. So last week I got feedback from my last project and it was an overall merit pass so i did pretty okay, the previous project this year I got one M and rests Passes so was overall pass. And for my first project this year (B1), i again, got mainly M's so an overall merit. Making Merit my dominant grade for this year.

So the university I want to go to is asking for MPP grade, however I'm worried I'll only get PPP. I cannot remember what I got for my first year (there's a 2 year gap between) and I can't seem to find the record for the grade I had gotten. But I know I didn't do as well that year as I struggled because of mental health and especially the covid restrictions, so I'm assuming i've gotten all passes/overall pass for that year. I'm concerned this will heavily effect my final results and I'll end up with just a PPP grade instead of MPP. I'm not too knowledgeable on how grades are calculated but i've sent a couple messages to my lecturers who haven't answered yet.

To fellow students, does anyone have a better idea of how the grades work? And is there anybody who got P for their first year and overall merits for the second, and if you either ended up with PPP or MPP etc?

thanks xD

you can look online for your courses grade calculator. then you can type in the grades you got for each unit or test and it will calculate your overall grade. hope this was a little helpful. if you had said the name of your course in your question i would link the corresponding grade calculator. But here the information from the pearson website about how you can access the grade calculator . https://qualifications.pearson.com/en/support/support-topics/results-certification/understanding-marks-and-grades/using-the-next-generation-btec-nqf-grade-calculator.html
