A levels decision HELPP

I’ve just finished my GCSEs and I want to study dentistry, I’m thinking of doing bio, chem, phys + EPQ,
Is it more competitive to do 4 A levels?
Like for example when applying to KCL are 4 a levels preferred over 3?
Like does it make my application less competitive?

Hi, I completed the application process for medicine (didn't go through with it, happy to ask any questions you have about that)
Physics is immensely complex, I did want to do it, too, but was told I'd need to do maths alongside it since the topics complement one another, but I didn't want to do four and biology and chemistry were non-negotiable options to me
I did an EPQ in my first year, found it to be pointless but it didn't take much of my time, so I don't necessarily regret it

Doing four A-Levels, or even 3 and an AS, only makes your life harder. You're set for the hardest two years of your life, from A-Level exams, to the UCAT, to searching for work experience, to workshops and personal statement work etc. etc.
Simply put; you've got a lot coming your way, and it would be in your best interest to do the minimum required to get to where you want to be - No dental school will prefer you over any other applicant because you did 4 A-Levels, I suppose with an EPQ you can talk about what you wrote and how it helped and so on and so on.

Please, pick what you enjoy (and what is required), and just keep on top of the workload. I finished my A-Levels today, I made my whole life revolve around them and now I feel empty lol, don't lose your soul over this, your education doesn't make you as a person, so please do the minimum since they don't look at anything further

Be in contact if you have any questions, I'm happy to help
