Economics or Accounting and Finance?

I'm currently trying to choose the university degree and career to go into. I have a couple questions on economics and accounting and finance as follows:

Is accounting and finance extremely similar to business instead of econ (with more maths of course) and would you suggest not going into this if I've never done business before?
Is there more demand for jobs in economics or accounting and finance?
Is it true that economics normally leads to higher salaries? What's harder to progress in?
Is it difficult to go into accounting with an economics degree?
Is it better to go into economics because it seems to be more open career-wise whereas accounting and finance sort of forces you into accounting?

Thank you!

What grades are you aiming for at a level? Which subjects? How much do you like maths?
