History + modern languages at Oxford - MLAT?
Hello everyone!
Im really interested in applying for history with a modern language FROM SCRATCH at Oxford. I saw on the website somewhere that if you're doing history and a beginners language then you do not need to take the MLAT and I was just wondering if this was true?

"Candidates for History and Modern Languages with a Beginners’ Language do not need to sit the MLAT.
All candidates are also required to take the History Admissions Test (HAT)."
The likelihood of the university posting that on its website as a spoof is, shall we say, quite small.
