GCSE students: DON’T BE SMUG

I got A* and A for my GCSEs and the lowest grade was a B.
I revised the night before on some of my subjects.
Most GCSEs are easy enough to do in a months notice (or less).
If you are doing A levels remember that it’s another ball game.
Start EARLY. Be consistent. Be organised.
I just did the exams and I wish I was consistent and stopped wasting time.
Fortunately I do have a place in uni. But please don’t make the same mistake as me as it isn’t nice going out of the exam knowing that you could’ve done better.

So true! I revised my GCSEs 2 weeks before my exams. Then for A levels, I studied day and night and barely got the grade that I wanted. A Levels are on a whole other level.

This has motivated me even more! After hearing year 13s complain I’ve started studying for A levels and it’s been 3 days since my last GCSE exam

Make sure you don’t just memorise everything on its own too. Practice is key. After every chapter go on physics and maths tutor to do exam questions.
After one complete cycle, do a past paper.
Try and repeat each subject 3 times.
If you need my Anki notes for biology dm me I’ll give it for free. Hell, I’ll even make it public for people to use.
