astronomy

hiii, I'm currently nearing the end of year 10 and have been thinking of a level courses and college. ive been looking to find some good sixth forms or colleges that might offer astronomy but I haven't found any so far. If anyone has any advise on what I could take instead or even some really good colleges/universities that do offer it.
Thanks

I’ve never heard of astronomy a level nor gcse - it seems like a private school thing. If your desperate to take it for a level maybe check with any local private schools sixth forms if there are any in your area

Tbh instead of looking for like a course such as astronomy it may be better to take Physics and then at Uni you're able to choose the course you truly want. I'm saying this cause finding an astronomy course is gonna be super difficult and once you start it you may change your mind, I went from Physics, to Applied physics and now I'm going to Sheffield for aerospace engineering (if my exams go well). So if you do physics instead of astronomy you'll most likely still get into the unis probably easier too!

unis do physics with astrophysics degrees so its worth doing maths and physics alevel.

Astrophysics and Space Science are degree subjects.
Stick with Physics, Maths and possibly Further Maths and you'll be fine for these subjects.
