If it’s new pain - go to the doctor. It’s probably nothing serious but any new pain needs to be checked out.

Hey,
We understand what you are going through, While it's possible that it's a minor issue that will resolve itself with rest and proper care, it could also be a sign of an underlying problem like overuse injuries, muscle strain/ pull or hip flexor strain (due to repetitive kicking action). What you do in an acute stage is- Rest, icing (15-20 mins), pain relieving gel and gentle stretching. See doctor if- pain is getting worse, it's severe (restricting you to walk), accomplished by swelling, redness, warmth, fever, or fatigue. Reach out to Granimals for further guidance and proper rehabilitation program suitable for conditions like this.

Do you have a physio on your team? They should help.
If not, fist of all rest for a few days, if it doesn't get better or getting worse at any point go to a doctor.

I'm a former athlete.
