candidate number

i'm sure it's fine but i'm stressing about this, i wrote the first digit of my candidate number wrong and crossed it out and kinda squeezed the correct number in the corner of the box.
i think it's legible but if it isn't will they refer to my name and centre number? i'm worried my paper will get disregarded if they can't clearly read the number

Your school exam staff will usually go through and double check all of the information on the papers before they are sent off so they will most likely fill in any missing information for you. If not, the exam board will get in touch with your school through your centre number.

Agree. It’s fine. It’ll be sorted out,…no need to worry.
