Looking for a job that fits my abilities

Hi,
For a long time now I have been looking for any part time work to do during my studies but it has been very hard to do.
Some of my friends advise me to look for IT jobs and others like that because they know that I have some expertise in coding, robotics etc. But I have tried to get myself out there in that area but still no luck. What should I do?

A Google search including your skills will typically find part-time jobs in your area based on your abilities. However, a good strategy is to make a LinkedIn profile, use it as a portfolio, and include everything you want to convey, then apply for jobs through LinkedIn. There are a lot of remote jobs out there.

Depending on how much you need the job as a source of income at uni, you may have to broaden your search and apply to jobs in other industries. For students, retail and food are both industries in high demand in the city centre, where hours tend to be flexible.
