Urgent pls help

So i can either go to prom or go to america for a month and see my cousin(i havent seen her in 7 years) i dont know what to pick because havent got a dress yet and prom is in 3 weeks.
Is prom really worth is because i feel like if i dont go ill feel left out as people will be going to after parties ect and posting on their stories,prom is only once in my life but its also only 3 hours.

What would you guys do?

girl go see ur cousin !! yes prom is once in a lifetime but there's so many more events that u can go to in the future. idk ab u but honestly my prom wasnt all that so if i were u i would MUCH rather go to america for a whole month!! esp since u dont have a dress or anything it might js be stressful tryna find one, spend time with ur family u can always spend time w friends later :")
think ab the difference between 1 month and 3 hours 😸
