What's your opinion on University Locks? would you recommend?

Hi @pooja_nishani

I haven't lived at University Locks myself, but I have a few friends who have and still do in second year. They've all enjoyed their time there, and have rebooked for final year, so they've enjoyed it enough to keep rebooking.

From what I know, it's no more than a 5 minute walk to the City Centre Campus, which is probably the biggest advantage. And then it's only an extra 10 minute walk into the town centre. There's a Co-op nearby if you need some last minute shopping, and you're opposite the Eagle and Ball - the student pub - so you're nearby for any events or quiz night!

There's also the Wellbeing Centre attached to Locks, which is a fitness studio that hosts classes from Yoga and Pilates, to Zumba and Boxercise. This is run by BCU Active, who are also on Instagram, so you can see what the sessions are like.

Some other accommodations nearby are Jennens Close and Lakeside if you want some other options to check out too.

Hope this helps! 🙂
