I am studying the HE access course for vet science, and I have a conditional offer. Bristol is also my firm choice, and my deadline is the 30th of June. I have two modules left, and I’m so afraid I won’t get in on time, as my application will be unsuccessful as my access course provider. The thing is, I’ve worked so hard to get where I am, and having ADHD makes me really take my time to learn. I am a perfectionist; the course provider does not mark assignments on weekends. I have contacted the vet school admissions team and am so worried. I asked if I was able to submit my grades to admissions or my applicant portal just even a day after they got my grades. I’ve got no one to blame but myself, but if I don’t get in, my parents are forcing me to study abroad as I am 20 now, which I do not want to do. I’m hoping Bristol can give me just a tiny bit of room. I know clearing does not exist for vet med, but I was wondering if anyone has any advice or if this has happened to anyone.
