My brother studied Maths and Physics for his A-Levels and now he finished his first year of maritime science. From what he told me, his notes were useful in the first semester because they covered the same core elements of maths and physics so he didn't need to take the same notes again, but afterward he didn't need them. I can't say how it's going to be with your course. You may or not use your A level notes, but from what he said even if he didn't keep his notes, it was such a small chunk of syllabus compared to anything else in uni that it didn't really have any impact on his grades or give him any jumpstart. I think if you really want to get rid of them, you can do that. The course should take into consideration the fact that not everybody studied psychology, let alone A-levels (international students) before uni.
