Hi @daddio1234 ,
I’m assuming the year 2 is referring to second year.
If so yes, your son would be able to resist the exams in August time. However, if he didn’t book an EC in he’d be capped at the pass mark. Meaning no matter how well he did, it would be 40 (assuming second year uni level).
As you have mentioned the exams were missed due to mental health reasons, I’d suggest contacting module leads and/or course lead and trying to get an EC.
