can i bring my suncream and skincare in its normal bottles ?

hello !
i’m going on holiday for the first time in like 10 years so i’ve been researching and researching but i am worried that something will bad happen at the airport since my family and i don’t know the idea of what to take in the luggages and personal bags.

i have two sun creams each 200ml, a cleanser which is 150 ml i think, an essence which is 100ml, moisturiser which is small, an eyelash curler and a mascara, can i just bring that or does it have to be under 100 ml.. apparently my parents said that i can just bring them as they are without using the travel bottles in the plastic bags if i put them in a checked luggage rather than in the cabin luggage ?? or should i just use the travel bottles .. ?

I think that it now depends on what airport you are travelling from but in my experience if you’re taking any liquids in carry on they need to be in a 100ml or less bottle and need to be in a sealed plastic bag or else your liquids will be confiscated/thrown out.

if you’re putting them in checked/cargo luggage (so not carry on luggage in the plane) then you can simply put the products in the suitcase as they are and that’s job done.

For razors, I have no idea whether that’s allowed or not, shaving cream I don’t know either, might depend on the bottle (I.e don’t bring compressed gases/stuff is what I’ve seen on some signs in the airports).

Might be something worth checking with specific Airport that you’re flying to/from however. There should be information on this on the Airport’s website

e.g
https://www.london-luton.co.uk/inside-lla/be-security-smart/what-are-my-liquid-limits
https://www.stanstedairport.com/help/passenger-guides/
https://www.heathrow.com/at-the-airport/security-and-baggage
https://www.gatwickairport.com/passenger-guides/security.html
https://www.manchesterairport.co.uk/help/passenger-guides/luggage/

etc

I don’t know what airport you’re flying from, I’ve linked these links as examples.
