Hi @~Redhood~

I know how you feel. Now uni is over for me, I'm in an in between stage at the moment, where I have loads of time but very little motivation to do anything. But I know in September I'll be craving this rest time again.

I'm trying to boost my mood by getting myself outside at least once a day. I could easily rot in bed or walk as far as my kitchen every day, but I'm making an effort to get myself outside, which is helping to lift my mood.

I'm also trying to do some of my hobbies which I didn't have time to do when I was completing uni work. I normally feel really guilty for doing some of my hobbies instead of "working", but this rest time is needed too.

Applying for jobs is another great start as a part time job can get you out of the house and building up some cash. Definitely keep this up, and try not to lose hope if you don't hear back straight away. I was searching for weeks last summer for a job and I eventually got there, so keep trying.

I'm also making an effort to make some future plans, especially for the upcoming academic year, whether it be goals I want to achieve or plans with friends, just to get myself motivated to work towards the future.

I appreciate what you're feeling right now, but take it steady and building yourself up little by little.

Best of luck. 🙂
