Thinking of what degree/course to pick

It's My last year in school this year, and I've been thinking about what degree I'll apply for. I don't live in the UK, but I'd thought I'd ask here.

I was thinking of a degree in history, I really live the subject and I'm really passionate about it, but I've heard it's not that useful of a degree. I also really like geography as well, though not as much as history.
These are the only two things I'm really passionate about, I also do biology and french in school, French is okay, not to good at the geography.
Should I consider a degree in history? I'm kinda stuck

All degrees teach you how to think and at a higher level then a school-leaver - this is what employers want, not the specific subject knowledge, and this is why you see job ads for 'graduate, any discipline'. Don't stress about 'getting a job'; a degree in History will give you opportunities in hundreds of different career areas.

Look at History degrees, but also look at courses that 'include History' :
American Studies and History (with a study abroad year) BA : University of Sussex
French Studies and History BA Hons (RV11) - Lancaster University
Languages (French) and History (with a year abroad) (BA) - Undergraduate, University of York
Combined Honours BA | Undergraduate | Newcastle University (ncl.ac.uk)
Liberal Arts BA | University of Leeds

Thank you! I'll have a look around at some courses!
