I'm thinking of doing a maths degree. Is it a degree where I don't need to go to lectures all the time and do it home?

No, you need the additional commnets a lecturer makes. If you want to stay at home then use the Open University which is set up for that.

It will depend on whether your uni records lectures if they provide good notes or not. If they don't do either you are pretty ****ed otherwise you can definitely get away with it.
