You have to pray no matter what because salah is what differentiates a believer from a disbeliever

Alhamdulillah yes however they don’t realise that it is very important (btw I’m 16 :P)

Yh I guess you'll just have to give them time. Everyone moves at their own pace, some people take longer to realise these things than others but you'll just have to keep on going at your own pace. Don't abandon your salah because of them

I’m not Muslim but I have seen people do this (wear a hijab during Ramadan to pray then take it off in other contexts).

it annoys me simply because God isnt gonna love u more if u pretend to be good for a month
and when they wear the scarf, they wear it as a fashion statement
im js like 'babes if half ur hair and ur whole neck on display is showing then whats the point u might as well take it off'

but oh well
benefit of the doubt and all
idk what the reason is behind their choices but its their business

Plus the makeup lol.

I think that some of them do it because their parents are forcing them to be religious (I would be tempted to do the same if my parent forced me to be Catholic), not because they themselves actually want to be religious, they just do it to not get disowned (I’ve seen people online say that they are forced into being religious).

So from that perspective it kind of makes sense but who am I to judge.

ig
the thing is, ik this girl who used to wear a scarf, and it slowly got worse, w her wearing make up and talking to boys
i distanced myself as she would get in trouble a lot
now in schl she doesnt wear a scarf, (today was sports day and she came in a tight top, lots of cleavage, and skort) but she does when she come to islamic schl and mosque
then in ramadhan shes all religious, shouting and acting scared when her half-on-scarf falls off in front of a male teacher
but if ur acting religious for ur parents, why do it in schl, if u think ur parents cant c anyways (clearly she thinks this as the rest of the time she doesnt wear any form of hijab)
and if its cos of God, dont u realise God can c u all the time, anywhere??

sorry for the rant lol
i js get so annoyed at her as we used to be good friends before she turned toxic, and i dont get why she did

I mean it’s her choice and life I guess in this context, I won’t judge.
