living alone for sixth form

hii!! so basically i'm currently in y10 and i'm thinking of moving somewhere really far from where i currently live for sixth form [but in the UK because though i'd love to go abroad it's too much of a hassle] since i want independence from my extremely controlling parents

tbh i just want advice and to know if this is legal. i also want to know if i can go to scotland for my a levels or whether i can only do this in england

Hey lovely, for a tenancy agreement you will usually be required to be atleast 18 years of age. However, if you are at risk of being homeless or have to leave your home due to extreme circumstances, you could be eligible for help from the council to find a property. If not, it may be useful to look online at sixth forms which offer accommodation options. For example, near me there is a sixth form/college that has it's own student halls! Wish you the best of luck lovely and I hope you manage to find somewhere.

Also, for the Scotland question: Most Scottish colleges/sixth forms only do Scottish Higher and Advanced Higher but it is worth to look if there are any that offer A-Levels you are interested in!
