Postgraduate Finance - Wales or England
Hi guys,
I'm trying to apply for postgraduate finance but I'm totally lost. I've just started my application with Student Finance Wales as I am Welsh and living here currently, but I don't have a permanent address here. I'm temporarily staying with a family member and I was planning on moving to Bristol around mid-September so I can work there full time while I study part time. The application is asking me what my permanent address will be on September 1st and as far as I can tell I'll still be with my family member at that time, but if I'm planning to have permanently moved to England by the end of September will I still be eligible for SFW? Any advice will be appreciated as I have no clue what to do!

Call SFW to clarify.
It is very unclear about this online. I live in Wales now and have since November 2023, but because I lived in England to do my undergrad, it seems they still regard me as ordinarily living in England and will only give SFE funding. It doesn't say this anywhere that I can find online and have had conflicting advise from different workers at SFW. Please keep us updated if you get anymore information. Good luck!
